Parenting, Postpartum, and Perinatal Mental Health
There is no way to be the perfect mother, but a million ways to be a good one.

What is Perinatal mental Health?
From dealing with fertility struggles, to becoming a parent, that can be very stressful. Unfortunately, the difficulties around getting pregnant and parenthood are rarely spoken about in our society. You feel that society expect it to be a joyful and positive time, but many times it feels stressful and lonely.
Approximately 1 in 3 women experiences mental health issues related to maternity and parenting. The most known disorders are postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. Still, there are other issues you might have experienced, like trauma at birth, postpartum OCD and more.
These conditions can be so overwhelming. It can feel like you are drowning and gasping for air. Untreated, these issues can grow and become chronic. This is hard to go through alone. I can help.
As a professional with lived experience in perinatal and fertility challenges in my past, including IVF treatments, pregnancy loss and postpartum mood disorders, I am passionate about supporting clients who are struggling with these issues in their current lives.
I am open, inclusive, supportive, and non-judgmental in my practice with my clients. I am here to help you make sense of your experiences and learn practical tools to manage your stress.
